Creative Designer

GodTube.com is an internet sensation.  Over 10 million visitors have logged on to the website.  According to ComScore, the company broke a record on its launch as the fastest growing website for the month of August 2007.  Newsweek described the company as “The Christian Answer to YouTube” and the site has been the focus of over 100 television interviews and more than 300 press articles worldwide, including coverage on CNN, Fox News, The Early Show and MSNBC.  

GodTube.com is seeking a highly skilled, highly artistic professional to fill our Creative Designer position. Under the supervision of the Creative Director, he/she will be  responsible for an assigned project’s “look and feel” and is expected to uphold the very best in design excellence. The designer should be able to fully immerse him/herself in the project’s subject matter, becoming visual and audio experts. This individual will team up with the creative and technology departments to create and implement new ideas, incluing web graphics and standard ads, target design comps for client relations, create electronic presentations, and create print materials for trade show and offsite marketing opportunities.

 

Skills RequirementBachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Media Marketing, Communications or related field2 plus years proven experience creating professional graphics and mediaWeb design experience a mustStrong graphic, illustration and typography skills are a mustExperience working within an e-commerce environment a plusKnowledge of MS Office requiredStrong interpersonal skillsExtremely strong proficiency in communication (written and verbal)Highly organized with great attention to detailsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficientlyVery strong visual communication skills, including web graphics, illustration, and print designProficient in the Adobe suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash; Fireworks, InDesign, and Aftereffects a plusThorough working knowledge of CSS, HTML, web standards, and web 2.0 trendsAbility to collaborate with a team or work independently with little directionMarketing, including conceptualization and presentation knowledge, a plusKnowledge of web development, a plusKnowledge of video editing, a plusEmail design and campaign experience, a plus
