Data Base Engineer

Description:This is a position reporting to the Manager of Data Warehouse Engineering team. * Design, develop and support data collection, data processing and reporting applications for both business and engineering data customers * Research and resolve data irregularities * Work with various Engineering, Operations and Business team on relevant projects * Support and mentor as required other team members * Be on call when requiredQualifications:* 6+ years Oracle Development Experience* Excellent SQL & PL/SQL skills* Good understanding of Oracle internal mechanisms* Experience developing PL/SQL code for Java Clients* 2+ years experience with Oracle based CRM systems (SAP, Siebel, Oracle CRM, Others)* Experience with code optimization and Oracle hints* Experience Oracle SQL Loader, with TOAD (or like) and SQL Loader* Good working knowledge of at least one scripting language e.g. Perl, UNIX shell scripting* Strong procedural and architectural documentation skills, experience with related tools (visio, Erwin, etc.)* Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment* Experience with Job Scheduling Tool* Excellent communication skillsBig Plus* Knowledge of Analytical Reporting tool/s* Knowledge of AbInitio technology * Experience with Oracle based Financial Systems (banking, trading etc.)College degree in engineering or sciences, strong preference for software engineering or computer scienceSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Brisbane, CAJob Number: RUSAEBAY7129-594714Company URL: http://www.ebaycareers.com Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience Job Location:  US-CA-Brisbane Job Number:  25258BR Company URL:  http://www.ebaycareers.com
