Database Engineer

Experian Interactive Media currently seeks a dynamic Database Engineer to join its Information Technology Engineering Team.The Database Engineer will be a key participant in the design, development, testing, and delivery of technical solutions. The full range of responsibilities will span from data modeling for new systems and applications as well as database re-factoring for existing applications to establishing and enforcing DB standards to support multiple application development teams across key verticals associated with Experian Interactive Media. We are looking for motivated, well-rounded, hands-on developers who know how to create robust high-volume production applications. You should have a good understanding of, and practical experience with, data modeling and DB development for high trafficked Java web applications.Responsibilities: The full range of responsibilities will span from data modeling for new systems and applications as well as database re-factoring for existing applications to establishing and enforcing DB standards to support multiple application development teams across key verticals associated with Experian Interactive Media.Skills: • Excellent provable data modeling skills. • Excellent database development skills using Oracle database • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, including design and development of triggers and stored procedures and query optimization. • Complete knowledge of all phases of Software Development Cycle.Requirements: • 7 or more years IT experience as a software developer. • 5+ years experience as Oracle DB developer. • BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent experience. • Excellent verbal and written communications. • Good Technical documentation. • Ability to work with internal customers and accurately collect and document requirements and turn them into a solution. • Complete knowledge of all phases of Software Development Cycle. Please click the link below to Apply Now!
