Database Marketing Manager - TEMP, TEMP TO HIRE

Immediate, full-time temp, temp to hire position with Time Warner Cable in Herndon, VA. POSITION SUMMARY:Reviews, evaluates and analyzes prospect and customer databases to support marketing and research programs Analyzes marketing data such as customer information, call patterns, and demographics to better target and segment lead generation and retention programs Responsible for data extraction, list generation and evaluating effectiveness of marketing campaigns Drives the development of database functionality with internal groups and IT to ensure marketing database needs are met Takes the lead on augmentation / clean up of existing data sources and ensures marketing data is updated and current to ensure the most effective use of data is available to meet marketing goals Creates lists based on marketing requirements, supporting internal and external departments Manipulates data (i.e. refine, append and update) within and between various databases Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures Coordinates and disseminates information/requirements between Marketing and IT Identifies, monitors marketing and competitive intelligence data sources Provides support to Manager on other initiatives as required.Previous primary job experience in database management, mining and marketing data manipulation -Experience in analyzing data to develop and deliver reports, recommendations and presentations to management. -Experience in developing needs assessments and project requirements, and in communicating those requirements between Marketing and IT. - Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering on deadlines. - Ability to approach problems with creative thinking. - Highly professional verbal and written communication skills - Preference for working in a collaborative, team environment - Flexibility to take on additional projects as priorities shift The successful candidate should possess a minimum 3 years experience, preferably B2B, specifically focused on commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures related to data mining and database marketing.
