E-Commerce Copy Writer Assistant

Century Marketing is currently looking for an E-Commerce Copy Writer Assistant.  Position requires the ability to develop E-Commerce copy and content for corporate web initiatives as well as other corporate projects, and have a 2-4 year degree in web copy writing, visual communications, or other related digital multimedia experience. 

 

Relocation expenses will not be considered.

E-Commerce Copy Writer Assistant

Reports to: Director of E-Commerce Sales

Functions Needed:

Ability to develop E-Commerce copy and content for corporate web initiatives as well as other corporate projects. Incorporates product and market information into consistent copy for use in product descriptions, promotions and articles.  Writes keyword rich text for all captions, headlines and testimonials, as well as body copy for corporate web sites.

Responsibilities: Assists with development of copy to ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality of the organization's web sites, blog and forums.Responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service with end users and employees to ensure site content is accurate, up-to-date, interactive and dynamic.Develop highly effective, original and targeted copy for the promotion and sale of goods and services on corporate web sites, company blogs and forums. Works directly with Ecommerce Copy Writer to work in tandem with other departments to write & edit creative materials for promotions, web site marketing, product information postings and website content, etc. A thorough understanding of the target audience and maintaining the right tone of voice while writing copy.

Skills Required:Excellent command over the English language. Expert writing skills, editing and proof reading abilities. Ability to write concise, attention grabbing and hard-hitting web copy that portrays the message and information needed. Exposure to writing promotional materials, online web content, press releases and copy. Delivering within short time frames and meeting tight deadlines.Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills dealing with both customers and employees.2-4 year degree in web copy writing, visual communications or other related digital multimedia, or equivalent work experience.Ability to use software applications Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to ensure quality in the execution of assignments with high attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and manage time-sensitive, detailed-oriented, multi-faceted projects.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
