E-Commerce Web Marketing Manager

BASIC FUNCTION

The E-Commerce Web Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, and delivering marketing and merchandising programs to support the growth and expansion of mjtrim.com.  This includes, but not limited to, company's web site functionality, online banners and e-mails. 

 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES

 

· Works with development partner to identify requirements, design, develop and deploy innovative technology solutions for company's web site.

· Manages website promotions of company through electronic media and affiliate partnership.

· Uses traffic tracking applications to recognize user patterns and trends to help formulate effective merchandising solutions and marketing techniques. Undertakes web content management to optimize search engine traffic and drive users to the company's website.

· Stays abreast of sales reports and trends based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.

· Ensure that the website is up and functional.

· Work with website developer to complete projects, bug fixes and enhancements to the website.

· Create and schedule emailers on a consistent basis

· Create a marketing budget and ensure the spending remains in budget.

· Investigate and recommend marketing ideas for website.

· Report to management on site trends and statistics.

· Ensure that item copy, description, pricing and alternatives are clear, correct and relevant to consumers.

· Analyze online competition and recommend pricing

· Maintain an appropriate level of rhinestones inventory and recommend pricing.

· Other tasks as assigned by management

 SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

· Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

· Familiar with eCommerce concepts, practices, and procedures.

· Knowledge of HTML standards, Flash and/or related concepts is desired.

· Highly organized, fast learner, excellent work ethic

· A self starter with a drive to continue to push sales

· Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

· The ability to multi-task and work in a busy, fast-paced environment

· Merchandising within product representation
