Email Marketing Manager

SpaFinder, Inc. (www.spafinder.com), the world’s leading spa media and marketing company is seeking an Email Marketing Manager.  This newly created position will be responsible for managing all strategic and day-to-day aspects of our business lines direct marketing and email initiatives.  SpaFinder’s business lines include SpaFinder.com and Spawish.com, both of which market to consumers, trade professionals and advertisers.  This position will report directly to the Vice President, Online Marketing.



Primary responsibilities include:

· Strategic management of our direct marketing calendar, across multiple business units and customer lines, including: Consumer, Trade, Corporate sales, Promotional (advertiser, e-commerce), Corporate communications, Additional partners as necessary

· Technical implementation of emails, including template formation, image editing, writing and editing content and QA of emails across multiple email platforms.  Includes html, xhtml, javascript and css development.

· Project management of both regularly scheduled email campaigns, and as well as time sensitive escalations.

· Implementation and ongoing management of direct marketing systems.

· Analysis and reporting of success metrics and ROI of various email campaigns.

· Coordination with International offices and business managers to ensure appropriate cross-over direct marketing efforts.

This position requires the following skills:

· Bachelor's degree and 4+ years related industry experience (or Master's and 3+ years) required

· Background in Direct Marketing for a consumer internet or e-commerce company, with at least 2 years of database marketing experience.

· Strong technical understanding of direct marketing technologies and the operations of a commercial Web site

· Experience and level of comfort presenting concepts to senior executives

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, organizational skills.

· Working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, javascript, and Photoshop for image editing
