F/T (IN HOUSE) Junior Bookkeeper/ Filekeeper

Pathnet Technologies is currently seeking a full-time in house Bookkeeper/File Clerk to join our rapidly expanding, full-service online marketing company. The successful candidate should have a proficient knowledge of Simply Accounting. They must be fluent in english, possess the ability to multi-task and have strong organizational skills. They should also have a strong educational background in bookkeeping/accounting. Although previous professional bookkeeping experience is not a requirement, it is considered an asset.

This is an ideal position for any recent graduate who is looking to get started in the field of accounting or further develop their career.

As a member of our team, you will be required to:

  * Balance company bank statements
  * Submit paperwork to IRS
  * Handle and manage payroll
  * Work with cross border tax accountant currently handling account for Canadian and US corporations

Additional duties will include managing expenses, filing, bank reconciliation and servicing our multiple companies various filing/bookkeeping needs.

Compensation for this position is approx. $30,000/year and medical and dental benefits after 6 months of employment.

Our hours of operation are: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday
