Facilities Maintenance and Planning Manager


Reporting to the CFO, responsibilities will include:


Managing vendor  relationships in the maintenance service and repairs of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, or electrical servicing to the organization's facilities.

Works with management and purchasing on office equipment purchases and leases to ensure appropriate structure of purchase/lease agreements.

As space requirements increase, coordinates new and current space selection and layout, design, construction, development, and/or installation or reconfiguration of current and new office space and facilities.

Conducts feasibility studies, and submit proposals, designs and suggestions for review as it relates to current and future space planning needs.

Oversees construction progress, equipment installation, and ensures that timing, costs and contract requirements and deadlines are met.

Manage the company’s security function (video, door codes, keys) and interfacing with those external vendors that provide these services as required.

Works with related departments in managing the safety, environmental, business continuity and emergency planning functions. Conducts workplace inspections and enforces safety and environmental policies in compliance as dictated by regulatory agencies (Osha, Fire Dept, etc).

Works with related departments and coordinates mandated safety/facility related training modules such as earthquake preparedness, fire extinguisher, CPR/First Aid, Automatic External Defibrulator, workstation ergonomics, etc

Qualified applicants must possess a bachelors degree in a related field (or commensurate experience) plus a 7 plus years of related experience in similar role with similar demographics to our size/scope and facility/space planning needs.
