Flash Development Support

PointRoll is looking for a Flash Developer who is able to visualize a concept and bring it to realization.  You are who we are looking for if:

 You know what OOP means and what it means to implement it Are excited and motivated to solve problems and overcome challenges You have a good balance of process and initiative Are interested in building publicly consumable code and interfaces.

 

We're not looking for computer scientists per se, but it is imperative that the concepts of code and design be present.  This person will be responsible for developing and implementing scaleable solutions that are consumable by both internal and external stake holders. 

 

This person would work to relieve dependency on version specific syntax typically associated with the following through the use of API's and other Objects.

-  Sending / receiving dynamic data (XML, PHP etc.).

-  Streaming Video

-  RSS Integration

-  Use of Various AS 2.0 Based API's

-  Web Service Integration (WSDL/SOAP)

-  Form Integration and Validation

Requirements

- Must be proficient with AS 2.0/1.0 as well as familiar with AS 3.0

- Expertise with OOP programming techniques

- Innovative and adventurous mentality.  The impossible should be your goal

- Experience with building API's and/or Components a Big Plus

- Must work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Detail must be paramount, and cleanliness is code organization is required

- Strives to exceed expectations and deliver early

- Experience with wide range of internet technologies, including, Flash Remoting, Flash communication server, XML, JavaScript, and HTML.

- Intimate knowledge of version specific features and quirks
