The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for leading a small team to accomplish a specific set of responsibilities within an e-commerce fulfillment center.  He/She will provide feedback to the Fulfillment Manager and direction to fulfillment associates.  He/She will create a positive, safe, and harmonious work environment while maintaining individual and departmental productivity and quality standards.

Typical work activities can vary according to the necessities dictated by our often changing environment.

Nevertheless, tasks typically involve:

•  Evaluating daily/weekly/monthly needs of the workforce

•  Using our software to run reports on productivity to ensure that benchmarks are set and goals attained

•  Ensuring receiving accuracy via reporting and coaching

•  Ensuring pick and pack accuracy via reporting and coaching

•  Ensuring all product is handled with care and packed accordingly for shipment to customer

•  Ensuring new team members receive an introduction to their role in terms of the position as well as the role of the department as a whole

•  Training, coaching and mentoring team members

•  Conflict Management and resolution

•  Communicating changes in company policy /processes

•  Supporting all company safety procedures and programs


» Job Qualifications

•  High School Diploma or GED required, some college coursework desired

•  Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•  Computer Literate

•  Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision

•  Ability to handle stress and resolve recurring problems

•  Ability to safely lift 50 pounds

•  Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Fulfillment Manager
