GIS/EDI Administrator

Large company in Plano is seeking an GIS/EDI Administrator.  Qualified candidate will meet the following criteria. KEY FACTORS: 1) Experience with installing, maintaining, upgrading, performance tuning, and supporting a Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) system 2) Experience with GIS Mapper using ODBC Mapping, XML mapping, X.12 mapping, and flat file mapping. 3) Experience with Web Services / WSDL / SOAP 4) Business Process (BP) modeling familiarity 5) JDE 7.3 on AS400 familiarity would be good Requirements: • 2 years utilizing Sterling Commerce GIS 4.0 or higher • 5 - 7 years of development/support of EDI/XML/Flat File data integration with Sterling or Other Integration Tools • Working knowledge of Order Management Systems, and Warehouse Management Systems, and 3rd party fulfillment • Excellent organization skills • Excellent communication skills • Bachelors Degree MIS or Engineering Responsibilities: • Responsible for Installation/Maintenance/Support/Upgrades for GenTran Integration Suite • Responsible for integrating GIS 4.2 with partners using Web Services / WSDL / SOAP • Perform EDI/XML/FF Mapping using Sterling Commerce GIS Mapper • Design Business Process using Sterling Commerce BPML tools • Support application database with strong knowledge of SQL on SQL Server 2000 and 2005 • Support client issues with speedy turnaround • Ability to work independently during client implementations • Assist Application Development Manager in migration of Gentran400 EDI to GIS 4.2 • Assist Department Manager with time estimates for business process and mapping Job Reference Code: 7507GIS Company: Modis, Inc.
