The Stanley Works is embarking in a major initiative to globally harmonize business processes using SAP as the enabling tool. One of the key components of this initiative is the creation of a SAP Center of Excellence to provide Stanley Business Units a world-class and cost effective business applications services and also to drive this global initiative on the IS/IT side.
The SAP Manufacturing & Procurement Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a member of the SAP COE Team specializing in Manufacturing & Procurement. The SME main focus will be the completion of the Program, being responsible for participating in the Business Blue Print, Design, Fit Gap Analysis, Realization, Data Conversion, Testing, Training, and Go Live Support activities for the SAP MM, PP, PM, QM, WM, and SRM-EBP.
Skill sets include the background in understanding the SAP process, data, and configuration involved in the Source-to-Pay and Plan-to-Produce process areas.
We are looking for a Team player with strong project management, communication skills, and knowledge in the above areas. This position has great growth potential and exposure to learn cross integration across all process areas.
Domestic and international travel is required.
Goals & Mission:
· Provide Data, Configuration, Conversion, and SAP knowledge in all areas of the Manufacturing & Procurement processes.
· Participate in the identification, developments of action plans, and ensure execution of all SAP Best Practices and Change Impacts as required for a Successful Go Live.
· Ensure the Stanley Works Global Solution has incorporated all aspects of the SAP Global data standards related to Manufacturing & Procurement.
· Ensure Stanley Works requirements regarding data are covered for both data conversion and ongoing operation as well as for interfaces to legacy systems where required.
· Ensure Integration and flawless execution for the Procure to Pay and Plan to Produce end-to-end processes.

Main Responsibilities:
· Work with the business to help identify business requirements, map those requirements to SAP Global Best Practices where possible, and configure (customize where required) SAP functionality to satisfy those business requirements to ensure a successful implementation.
· Communicate SAP capabilities/possibilities within Manufacturing & Procurement.
· Lead projects and/or regularly coach other project personnel to ensure that the functionality is developed in a way that complies with business requirements and established methodologies and practices.
· Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals, and implementing corrective actions.
· Support the Stanley Works Blue Printing Process helping to map from the “AS IS” to the “TO BE”. Help evaluate business processes, come up with alternatives for gaps where required, and communicate to the COE Manager. This includes working with the Global Process Owners to provide the ROI and any other business requirements that are necessary to help support their Gaps. Once the Gaps are approved, work with the Global COE SAP Manager and Stanley Works Business Partners to implement the solution. This includes design, configuration, testing, documentation, training, data conversion, preparing business specifications, develop functional specifications, and go live support.
· Ensure that all mission critical operations are operational and accurate at Go Live so that the responsible end-to-end processes are executable without errors. The focus needs to be no impact to the customer.
· Support legacy development of specifications for data conversion and interfaces into the SAP Global template where required.
· Solve all data related issues on both the Legacy and the SAP Global side during the several testing cycles.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
· Superior project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors. Ability to analyze projects needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of comprehensive SAP configuration experience in MM, PP and WM is required. Knowledge of SAP SRM-EBP is desirable.
· Deep understanding of end-to-end processes in Source-to-Pay and Plan-to- Produce is required.
Preferred Skills:
· Configuration experience in SAP modules PM and Variant Configuration
Education:
· BS in Information Technology or related field.
