HR Director

Profitable E-commerce Company with 25 employees in the West Los Angeles is seeking a resourceful, experienced Human Resources Director.
 
As the HR Director you will provide hands-on assistance in all areas of human resources including:  recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training, payroll, and change management.  Organization has aggressive growth plans for 2008, strong recruitment experience is a must.

Essential Functions:
Hands-on full-cycle recruitment Handle all ER issues from investigation to resolution Develop compensation & benefit programs as needed Manage 401k Administer payroll Assess training needs and provide as needed Coach, counsel management on all employee isses Create & Manage Performance Management System Initiate new programs, policies and procedures including the creation of handbook Ensure Federal and State compliance Manage change and transitions Foster positive culture Other projects as needed
Qualifications:

7-9 years experience in human resources with strong emphasis on recruitment BA or equivalent experience Experience in Internet or E-commerce company Previous start-up experience Ability to work indpendently, make decisions and problem solve Experience as a stand alone HR Professional Mulit-tasking guru Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
