Hitwise Account Manager - NYC

Hitwise Account Manager MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ACCOUNT MANAGERS: • Achieve renewal revenue target based on installed base of clients with a set annual quota. • Main contact for clients with Hitwise (See Additional Responsibilities below). • Act as a Hitwise "evangelist" in client companies. • Up-sell existing clients on new Hitwise services as well as discover new sources of revenue within existing clients (e.g., additional users, other divisions of company). • Conduct new client orientations and trainings. • Monitor client usage on a regular basis and provide "re-orientations" when needed. • Attend sales meetings and report on sales progress on a weekly basis. • Conduct renewal and client service activities within budget. • Maintain accuracy of client database (SalesForce.com). • Assist with business reporting & revenue forecasting. • Participate in team and individually recommended training programs. • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews. • Assist with marketing and represent Hitwise at industry events. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Client and Prospect Queries: • Answer in a timely and professional manner. • Act as liaison to product and technical team. • Provide client feedback on product and company. 2. Miscellaneous: • Read industry newsletters and participate in educational activities related to career development. • Attend networking events.  PREFERRED: • Familiarity with syndicated research services or ratings service (e.g., Arbitron, Nielsen, MediaMetrix). • Account management or sales experience. • College degree or equivalent work experience. • Superior time management and prioritization practices. • Strong presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills. • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up and follow through habits. • A relentless work ethic and the drive to go the extra mile. • Flexible, adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills. • Resourceful and highly motivated to succeed. TRAVEL: • Approximately one week per month
