IBM WebSphere/BPM/J2EE Team Lead in Qatar

Executive Summary:


Urban Planning Development Authority (UPDA), DOHA-QATAR is looking at resources experienced in IBM WebSphere Business Process Management (BPM) platform to be deployed on-site at UPDA premises as Architects / Team Lead for developing and maintaining the various enterprise-wide business processes prevailing at UPDA.

 

The persons should have vast experience in developing successful high quality distributed object-oriented and service-oriented (SOA) software systems. The person should be experienced on IBM WebSphere BPM platform which includes Process Servers, Monitor and portal.

 

The person should also possess vast experience in managing large scale dynamic web applications including Analysis, Design, Development, Build, Deployment, Re-Engineering, Coding and performance tuning n-tier system using latest J2EE technologies.Must  Qualifications:

· Well accomplished J2EE Technical Team lead.

· Extensive experienced in using WebSphere Portal Server, WebSphere Process Server and Web Sphere Integrated Developer (WID) is a must.

· Primary Skills: WebSphere Integration Developer (WID), WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Monitor, Web Sphere Portal Server.

· Fluency in English is required; Knowledge of Arabic language is highly desirable but not required.Other Qualifications:

· Have demonstrated excellent problem solving skills, a structured and business-orientated approach and compelling technical abilities.

· Experienced team player but also very accomplished Hands on Engineer.

· Extensive experience in System Analysis, design and documentation using industry standard tools like rational.

· Experienced in maintaining public websites and back office WebSphere applications providing technical direction and support for systems and applications.

· Knowledge in administration and configuration with IBM WebSphere, IBM WebSphere portal. Experience with automation of deployment of J2EE components to WebSphere Application server.  

· Knowledge  of WebSphere Modeler, Lotus notes eform. IBM Rational

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-profiles, complex projects and implement with minimal disruption to end users.

 Key responsibilities:

 

· Leading project implementation using WebSPhere Process Server, Monitor and Portal.

· Lead, teach and Mentor the development team on the IBM WebSphere BPM platform.  This includes the following tools: WS Modeler, WS Integration Developer, WS Monitor, WS portal Server, and Lotus Notes eforms.

· Manage internet infrastructure implementation, deployments, upgrades and maintenance, application development, customization, configuration, integration, etc.

· Carry out gradual system migration plan for replacing the existing systems appropriately and smoothly, wherever required.

· Adopt and implement effective internet policies and procedures, project documentation, as well as technical and business specifications

· Carry out gap analysis and develop a phase-wise plan including indicative cost and time frame for implementing the identified gaps. Provide options for full or partial outsourcing, or in-house development.

· Develop policies, SOP, administrative manuals, user manual & guidelines for using the system

· Suggest industry best practices, various proven industry standards being adopted in similar kind of organizations.

· Training and technology transfer for Administrators, Developers, Project Managers, Power users and Viewers/end-users (Including training materials).
