IT Help Desk Support Specialist

The IT Help Desk Support Specialist will support server infrastructure including Microsoft Server 2003, MS Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, routers, switches, firewalls and other hardware issues including:

·  Windows Vista and XP desktop: installation and management, knowledge of common desktop applications

·  Arrange for purchase and setup of new computer related hardware and software to accommodate new hires

·  Provide help desk and phone support for end users, troubleshoot and resolve IT related issues

·  Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing and other networking concepts including: email (internal / web-based routing), external DNS and web servers

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 3 – 5 years professional experience and the ability to work independently on projects. Development/Project life-cycle knowledge is a big plus. MCSE certification preferred. Citrix experience desired.
