IT Manager

Location: San Jose, CA 95101 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 7+ to 10 Years Pay Rate: 100,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD /year Position Title:  IT Manager  Compensation:  90K – 130K per year, starting salary, with opportunities for annual bonus and advancement into other opportunities within the company.Reporting to:PresidentExperience: 4+ years managing servers operating in all capacities and diverse operating systems, along with running highly available, large scale networks and managing IT Engineers Responsibilities:  Work with the IT Engineering group to provide stable and reliable IT services for our clients.  Lead a team of systems engineers in executing new installations in our managed hosting environments, troubleshooting technical problems, and moving into new markets.  Successful candidate will have experience in managing and troubleshooting large installations of Windows and Linux servers, network management, and exhibit strong leadership and customer service qualities.  Manage the installation of new leased servers in an IBM bladecenter environment, with thousands of servers worldwide Lead projects to rollout new data centers worldwide, with network connectivity and managed server clusters Manage the operations of corporate IT infrastructure Work with clients to manage their major projects and large-scale installations Work with our vendors to keep up with hardware needs Lead a growing team of systems engineers in their daily tasks Troubleshoot performance problems in the server environment and our network Hire and train new IT Engineers (Jr, Mid-level, Sr) Oversee the documentation and procedures of the IT:Engineering team Handle escalated tickets that require managerial decisions Participate in on-call rotation to provide high level support for our hosted and managed services
