Role: We are looking for a passionate, motivated IT Manager to join our IT team in our Atlanta office this full-time, salaried, position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking an exciting IT career in a technology based organization, working directly with our high profile clients including arenas and professional sports teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and others leagues. This role is very client focused; requires excellent communication skills, detail oriented and a professional image are a must as you will be representing Ticketmaster by supporting our various products deployed at our high profile clients. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Management responsibilities: Scheduling of IT staff for service and preventative maintenance Maintains supplies and material to appropriate levels Maintains and submits accurate records for the local department Travels to clients sites or ticket centers as necessary Directly involved in high profile client service calls and installs Utilize standard applications and tools for performing job functions. (i.e. Remedy) Create PO’s for hardware purchases Assures processes and procedures are followed to company standards (including preventative maintenance, site survey, site installs) Works with Regional Director and Area Manager to determine capital expenditures. Mentors, leads and develops IT staff to understand and support new technologies while providing opportunities to grow within the company Provides occasional after hours support to technicians· Information Services – Building services associated with computer hardware, software and networks.· Technical Services - Defines, analyzes, and resolves technical problems on TM equipment, systems and related equipment. Performs installation, repair and preventative maintenance on TM equipment and systems. · Telco Services – Supports services associated with data telecommunications, including, but not limited to DSL, IDSL, Cable, Frame Relay, and POTS. · Works closely with client technical personnel as required. Maintains and submits all required records. · Properly communicates project status to client, TM management, and to other appropriate TM personnel. · Adapts skills and knowledge as new TM products are adopted and implemented in order to properly service equipment. · Performs shipping and receiving functions as well as general housekeeping in IT Department. (This work may be performed both in-house and in the field.)· Initiate and receive client, client rep, help desk phone calls and Remedy requests related to technical issues. · Resolve issues over the phone where possible, determine possible cause of the issue, and involve other TM departments as needed in the troubleshooting and resolution process. · Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: · AAS Degree or equivalent technical certificate and/or experience in a field service/technological industry position; a strong background in data communications, computers, and networking, as well an electro-mechanical aptitude. · 2-5 years of IT/IS or related experience · A good working knowledge of Windows 98/2000/XP and the Office 2003 suite of applications required. · Experience with Server 2000/2003 a plus. · Candidate must be self-motivated, capable of independent reasoning and troubleshooting, and possess the ability to work reliably and responsibly both independently and in a team environment. · Proven leadership, mentoring and management experience with the ability to motivate, train and develop staff· Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. · Candidate must be detail oriented and organized · Must be available for rotating evening and weekend on call availability. · Able to travel to client and outlet sites as required. · Company vehicles are used for field calls, but use of personal vehicles may be required for field visits resulting from calls outside of normal business hours. · Must have a clean driving record with no prior alcohol related charges, be able to provide a current MVR, and must possess dependable transportation.
