IT Services Manager

Overview:
Our Client is looking for a permanent Senior Manager to lead a growing IT Services organization.  Prior experience leading Infrastructure teams in the deployment and support of WAN and LAN infrastructure, desktop and mobile solutions, help desk support infrastructure, and productivity services such as Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Sharepoint is required. 

The Senior Manager will provide strategic leadership, drive technical innovation/vision, and possess a strong delivery mindset.  This position is responsible for fostering innovation and continual improvement within the IT Services team, setting and maintaining high standards of performance, and ensuring timely delivery with exceptional levels of quality.

 

Responsibilities:
• Ownership of IT Services infrastructure on a global basis, including solutions development and vendor relationships/negotiation.
• Ability to develop and grow a premier technology services team.
• Leadership in driving successful business focused solutions for internal customers
• Highly efficient delivery of network, server, desktop, and mobile solutions.
• Delivery of projects in conjunction with the Project Management Office
• Drive a business delivery mindset based upon business priorities and project schedules
• Effective expense, capital, and project budget management
• Provide leadership across the broader technology organization
• Maintain industry leading knowledge in core areas of responsibility


Requirements:
• Must possess a strong background of IT domain expertise with a proven ability to manage high performance teams. 
• 7+ years overall experience in IT with a focus on IT Services and Help Desk Operations
• Previous management experience of teams greater then 20 highly technical individuals and direct budget accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to inspire others to find creative solutions to challenging situations.
• Must be highly organized, self-directed, attentive to detail, and able to direct multiple projects and people simultaneously.
• Have the ability to set a high standard of personal performance and ability to operate independently in accordance with company goals
• Proven ability to manage priorities, focus on key objectives, and deliver exceptional value
• Must have a proven track record of meeting schedule and budget expectations
• Exceptional communication skills, highly organized approach to work, and comfortable embracing and driving change
• Must be able to partner effectively with peers.
• Current knowledge of trends and new technology within the IT Services / productivity space.
• Specific experience with Microsoft platforms and solutions
• Strong desire to innovate within the productivity space, including beyond the Microsoft standard platform.
• Must be able to operate effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor"s Degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
