Boston.com in partnership with is currently seeking motivated sales professionals and trainees for our inside advertising sales team. Sales experience is preferred but not a necessity. We are willing to train the right candidates!
Responsibilities:
INTERACT:
Initiate contact, develop and manage relationships with companies and strategic partners.
STRATEGIZE:
Effectively use the Internet and other resources to prospect for new leads, and to better understand client's industry and business
GROW:
Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets through new business acquisition
ORGANIZE:
Master our CRM database - must be able to manage pipeline and accurately forecast monthly business
WIN:
Work effectively in a team environment, exerting positive influence, and serving as a team resource
Requirements:
0 to 4 years outbound telephone sales experience including cold-calling and closing business on self-generated leads. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is needed, as is strong Internet knowledge. BS/BA Degree preferred
