Internet Marketing Manager

S&S Worldwide is a leading direct marketer of art supplies, crafts, sporting goods and novelties to the recreation, education and healthcare markets. We are seeking an Internet Marketing Manager. In this position you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of operational strategies and tactics employing electronic media to generate prospect and customer traffic for conversion to new customers and repeat buyers at the S&S websites.

*Primary Duties:*

  1. Propose, develop and execute traffic acquisition campaigns and
tactics consistent with company objectives and strategies for
e-commerce, including affiliateships, email campaigns, paid and
natural search-engine marketing, and other electronic means.
  2. Collaborate with other staff and departments to combine
acquisition strategies and tactics with site optimization and
traffic conversion strategies and tactics.
  3. Use analytical tools and other means to identify and increase
traffic that is converting at a high rate and to offer or seek
site merchandising or other revisions that might increase the
conversion of desirable traffic.
  4. Propose ways to integrate e-commerce with other direct response
marketing and sales planning and activity to optimize sales and
multi-channel marketing and sales profitability.
  5. Collaborate with Web development and other staff to identify
opportunities to improve campaign and overall website performance
via graphical user interfaces, web forms, and other means.
  6. Conduct research into current and emerging Web technologies and
issues in support of e-business/e-commerce activities.
  7. Identify, recommend, and prioritize new Web features and
applications in conjunction with business leaders and department
managers.
  8. Administer all affiliate programs and processes.
  9. Prepare a long-term plan for e-business development and presence,
including standards, procedures and guidelines based on business
goals.
 10. Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update
databases as they relate to Web applications.
 11. Monitor and report on performance of all e-campaigns.
 12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


*Qualifications:*

* Associates degree in Marketing or similar field required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Minimum 5 years pertinent experience in managerial, marketing or
analytical role.
* 2-5 years previous experience in an E-commerce or Internet
Marketing position.
* Knowledge of e-commerce technology and tools


You will also need experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, excellent written and oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
