Internet/Web Designer

Lucidea is Web software development, design, strategy firm in downtown Washington DC. Our clients are a diverse list, but we are focused on mid-sized associations and Government agencies. Projects are typically mid-complexity custom Web applications, such as content managed Web sites, member-management systems, secure member’s only sites, community sites, event management systems, etc – but we also do strict usability testing, graphic design, and strategy.

 

We are looking for a candidate with diverse skills, who can get involved creatively in many areas of the project.  The ideal candidate will have all of the core skills listed below: 

 

·  Experience with interface design, including the creation of low-fidelity prototypes (wireframes) and high-fidelity design directions/comps.

·  Experience doing information design/architecture projects, including defining content organization of Web sites including navigation (logical organization as well as literal labeling recommendations).

·  Experience with overall Web-based technologies

·  Converting graphic page mockups to HTML

·  General graphic design (as opposed to web interface design) capabilities, including branding, print design, or designing Web sites with an emphasis on a striking or interactive design.

·  Testing Web pages for compliance with multiple browsers and platforms
