Inventory/Supply Chain Planner, Consumables The Consumables product lines - Grocery and Health & Personal Care stores - are looking for a strong Inventory/Supply Chain Planner. The candidate will be expected to assist in executing category level inventory strategies to maximize sales, margin and turn. End-to-end ownership from manufacturer to customer of all processes in between. Strong execution of data and processes is required. The successful candidate must possess the ability to operate from a company-wide perspective and encourage cross-functional and cross-business project development. Responsibilities Manage inventory, open-to-buy and inventory health Assure data accuracy so all tools and processes function as expected Participate in manufacturer and vendor reviews; drive vendor scorecard excellence Liaison with operations and communicate operational impact of sourcing decisions Manage inbound shipments: fill rate, ASNs, operational issues, lead time Analyze inventory position, landed cost and sku performance to determine inventory liability, determine exit strategy for unproductive inventory The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience either as an Inventory Planner or Buyer. They must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software, such as Excel and Access. The successful candidate must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
