Java Developer

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining advanced eForms and UI components for the clients various electronic auto loan contract solutions. Emphasis is on the development and enhancement of eForms for the web. Regularly meet with eContracting Product Manager, Contract Services Manager, Integration Managers and customers. Additionally, experience with Web programming, specifically .JSP and JavaScript components, is required to build and maintain the interactive data capture forms for collecting the dynamic form data.  FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:1.  Perform all work in accordance with company’s quality programs, standards and procedures2.  Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility3.  Review customer-provided .PDF forms for adherence to input standards4.  Work with internal teams and/or customers to maintain form data-mapping requirements5.  Add XML mapping tags to customer-provided .PDF forms6.  Add and/or implement existing JavaScript to the PDF forms to perform various functions7.  Construct, enhance and maintain corresponding data-entry .JSP pages including the integration of various signature, printing and validation web services ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:1.  Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are paramount2.  Ability to work independently under general direction, as well as the ability to work within a team to meet common goals3.  Deep experience with JavaScript and HTML4.  Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the PDF specification v1.4-1.6 highly desirable5.  Demonstrated experience in manipulating web-based forms and creating sleek user interfaces via .JSP pages with a focus on usability and efficiency6.  At least 1 year of demonstrated expertise in Internet technologies, including: Java/J2EE using OO MVC design patterns, Hibernate 2.x/3.x, etc.7.  Direct, hands-on experience with Struts8.  Familiarity with XML data parsing, namespaces, XSLT transformation and using Xpath for data access9.  Experience developing web-based applications, not just websites, in a high-paced environment using an iterative development methodology10.  Familiarity with J2EE development IDE’s such as WSAD or Eclipse11.  Direct, hands-on experience with at least one of AJAX, WebWorks, JSTL or Display Tag desirable12.  Demonstrated ability to develop written specifications such as High-Level Design, Detail Design and Unit Test Plans to support Systems Development processes.13.  Proficiency with standard MS Office Tools (Word, Outlook, Excel) OTHER REQUIREMENTS:1.  B.A./B.S. in Math, Electronic Media, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field2.  Familiarity with Acrobat Professional, Adobe Form Designer, and/or PDFlib PSP tools desirable3.  3-5 years work experience4.  SUN Web Component Developer Certification a significant plus5.  Familiarity with web server configurations and typical Internet protocols including HTTP and SOAP6.  Basic understanding of RDBMS structures and SQL queries We are only accepting resumes of candidates who live in Michigan, all others will not be considered.Please send resumes to sara.ledin@computer-consultants.com   COMPANY:  Computer Consultants of America EMAIL: Apply by Email JOB TITLE: Java Developer COMPANY: Computer Consultants of America LOCATION: MI  STATUS: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project JOB CATEGORY: IT/Software Development CAREER LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager) Learn more about CCIView all CCI opportunities
