Production Operations Support Engineer (NOC) – Bellevue, WA

Due to all this growth, we have a new opportunity for a sharp and dedicated NOC Support Engineer to join our growing Production Operations Team. The Production Operations Support Engineer is responsible for providing superior technical support for internal and external CyberSource customers on a 24x7 basis. The work of the Production Operations Support Engineer will have a tremendous impact on the reputation of CyberSource as an organization and on the retention of its clients.

 

Specific Responsibilities will includeMonitor the Production and Data Recovery environments via Sitescope, MOM, and a variety of other system monitoring tools (including Permon and Wintail) to ensure Production Uptime Service Level Availability.Open and track alarms when anomalies occur or issues are reported.Perform light maintenance on Production or DR systems.Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting, problem analysis, and suggest solutions.Coordinate with other internal teams to facilitate issue tracking.Operate independently during normal systems operations.Ability to work weekend and night shifts.

 

QualificationsMinimum of 18 months experience in a technical customer support environment.Hands on experience with Microsoft Operations Manager and Microsoft SQL Server.  Excellent troubleshooting and problem diagnostic abilitiesGeneral knowledge of database administration and systems analysis procedures.  Proficient Windows and Linux operating system skills. Working knowledge of one or more of these languages: PERL, SQL, PHP, ASP, .NET, C, C#.Excellent communications skills, analytical thinker, initiative, follow-up, and intrapersonal skills.BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
