Summary

Widemile is seeking a full-time interactive designer with excellent design and typography skills to develop elegant, user-friendly, technically feasible, and compelling design solutions for some of the world’s leading brands.

 

Widemile is a fast growing Internet Conversion Marketing and Website Optimization company where leading technology and smart creative together deliver superior online marketing results. Widemile’s proprietary technology and service solutions enable large corporations to increase revenues and profits by optimizing their online marketing content and sales systems. Our offices are located in downtown Seattle overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

 

Responsibilities

The interactive designer will be primarily designing high impact landing/web pages for multiple clients.  Candidates should have a thorough understanding of web design and the ability to work independently and under supervision of the Creative Director.

 

Required Skills

· 1-2 years of professional graphic design work experience

· Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite programs: (Photoshop, Illustrator) in order to produce well-designed, clean, organized digital files

· Excellent UI skills

· Highly detail-oriented self-starter with a strong ”can do” attitude

· Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively in high–pressure, multi–tasking situations

· Competency with basic web technologies (HTML, CSS)

· Proven ability to follow an existing design language or creating your own

· Excellent typography skills

· Strong passion for web technologies

· Strong verbal and written skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or equivalent experience

 

Bonus Skills

· Ability to create site maps, wireframes, and other interaction design deliverables

· Experience with Flash

· Experience with Silverlight

· Capable of creating illustrations

· Familiar with print, video, or audio projects

· Aptitude for copywriting

· Familiar with UX design
