Job Description:

 

Qualified candidate must have advanced knowledge of Web technologies including but not limited to Java, J2EE, .NET, HTML and JavaScript. Coach and develop a team of developers working on several different systems utilizing a variety of different platforms and languages, though primarily Java. Maintain a “hands on” approach and have a direct role in programming, troubleshooting, and administration.  Work with various internal teams to develop requirements specifications, estimates and timelines.

 

Responsibilities/Requirements:Assist the Program Manager by assuring that incoming requests receive time estimation, prioritization and developer assignmentGather technical requirements and author technical specifications when necessaryPerform troubleshooting and dev testing of code across various platforms and browsers.Provide insight and training for a team of developersEnhance existing process to ensure quality builds and releases

Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experienceFive or more years of professional Web development experienceExpert knowledge of Java/J2EE, .NET, HTML and JavaScript Previous experience managing a Web development team Understanding of Web standards and limitations, browser and platform compatibility, and best practices for coding and workflowWorking knowledge of SQL Server queries and procedures Ability to multitask and work on numerous complex assignments that come together under one deadline Candidate must have an extremely detail-oriented approach to managing and completing work. Excellent oral and written communication skills Ideal candidate will have knowledge of a wide breadth of Web-related topics such as release management, version control technology and Web serversWork with an eCommerce platform and with ATG in particular is a strong plusIn-depth familiarity with SOA a strong plusPrevious direct experience with JBOSS is a plus
