Manager of Client Services

Local.com is looking for an Internet-savvy resource to manage pre- and post-sales, drive the creation of client support procedures & tools and assist in the development of client relations.

Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for supporting business development client relationships, addressing both pre- and post-sales phases.  Candidate will define and create pre-sales documentation & demonstrations and manage post-sales integration.  Post-sales integration will involve definition, creation and distribution of all client communications including welcome, process delineation, technical documentation, coordination of implementation utilizing technical resources as needed, etc. Candidate will evolve support mechanisms into defined, productized packages that will be utilized by client services for ongoing long-term support.  

Primary ResponsibilitiesManage the day to day support of client partnerships.  These Partners will include agencies, verticals, channel partners (newspapers, IYP’s, etc.).  Coordinate with the various internal functional groups to resolve any issues pertaining to account (billing, tech, etc.).  Travel to client site or industry conferences may be required in some instances.Work with large clients to implement custom programs and/or training.Work with Business Development and Product Development to define partner support requirements.Create all necessary support documentation, working business development, Technology, etc. as needed.Implement programs for clients, via end-user inquiries, to ensure they understand how to launch campaigns, how to create and use materials, and how to utilize administration systems.Work with Product Development to execute development of necessary support mechanisms.Manage projects designed to increase growth and retention. Includes development of project plan, managing internal and external resources to achieve target dates, rolling out project to clients and tracking results.Evolve support mechanisms into defined, productized packages that can be utilized by client services for ongoing long-term support.  Train client services team members on said processes.Increase revenue from existing clients through up-sell of Local.com products (e.g. getting local clients to adopt additional feeds, etc.) and by campaign optimization techniques.Communicate with both internal and external resources to evaluate potential product components and coordinate with Business Development and Product Development to inform development plans.

Job Qualifications BA/BS or equivalentMinimum 8 years previous work experience with 4 years related to Technology-based productsStrong technical acumen with ability to facilitate communication between business and technical resources  Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skillsAbility to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, team environmentDetail oriented with excellent follow up skills  Applications experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint, etc…)
