MARKET RESEARCH SENIOR ESTIMATOR

The Senior Estimator works with highly confidential information and has a direct effect upon the sales and profitability of the company.  Specifically, a Senior Estimator will be responsible for:Obtaining pricing for studies by obtaining all necessary specifications from our stakeholder company client service teams Liaising with other internal departments to determine costs in areas including data collection, data processing and coding.  Liaising with vendors and properly negotiate pricing based on stakeholder specifications Consulting with Client Service on sample decision and providing assistance on client calls when necessary. Establishing oneself as a point person for products of our partners Working closely with other Operational Team Managers to identify areas of improvement with the Estimating task or challenging to processes Presenting internally, when necessary, about Kantar Operations Estimating roles and responsibilities Actively participating in team meetings and sharing knowledge within the team

 

 

Qualified Candidates will have:

· A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Accounting or related field.

· 4+ years of marketing research experience with an understanding of a variety of market research methodologies.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure turnaround timing needs are met, while relationships with vendors and sample providers remain collaborative and mutually beneficial. 

· Proficiency in MS Office, problem solving, negotiation skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
