Our clients include some of the largest and mostrecognized brands in the retail, healthcare, pharmaceuticals,manufacturing, technology, financial services, insurance, and businessservice industries.The Marketing Strategist at iProspect focuses on leading the strategicdiscussion with potential clients by working with Client Services tosupport the Vice President of Sales and the Regional Sales Managers onclient presentations and proposals. The successful candidate will be ableto convincingly demonstrate, in client settings, their deep knowledge ofonline and offline marketing, including search engine marketing strategiesusing a consultative approach.As Marketing Strategist, you will be expected to demonstrate the value ofthe firm's deep knowledge of online and offline marketing as well as searchengine marketing, an understanding of "what works, what doesn't and why"relative to the web technology, marketing and strategies employed byclients and a compelling and highly differentiated set of strategies andapproaches that will enable clients to improve their business results.Working with the Vice President of Sales and the sales team, you willprepare the team for successful interaction with prospective clients,complete the strategy sections of prospective client RFP's, participate insales presentations at prospective clients and demonstrate the distinctdifferentiators of the firm throughout the sales process. You will keepabreast of the latest advances in online and offline marketing strategies,including those employed by key competitors and will share this knowledgewithin our organization. You will stay current with changes in clientservice deliverables, methodology, tools used and procedures to ensure thatthe correct client service strategy is delivered to the prospective clientsthrough out the sales cycle. You will have superior communications skills,including the ability to present materials in a clear and compelling way todiverse audiences.Recommended Experience:Industry:1. Three or more year's experience in the Internet industry, as amarketing professional.2. Understanding of web marketing technologies, including contentmanagement, server architecture, information architecture and website design would be a plus.3. Clear understanding of the strategies, tools and processes used inonline and offline marketing programs.4. Ability to technically critique client web sites, and suggestalternative, experience-based improvement strategies.5. A clear understanding of client-relevant web metrics and relevantbenchmarks of "best practice" performance.6. Ability to explain the tools and processes used by the firm toimprove client web visibility in a way that demonstrates valuewithout disclosing sensitive proprietary information.7. Clear understanding of both the ethical and unethical (orquestionable) practices employed to improve web visibility.8. Up-to-date understanding of the processes, strategies, tools andapproaches employed by the firm's key current and emergingcompetitors.9. Ability to recognize the presence of specific competitors inaccounts under development and to develop and employ counter-strategies for positioning the firm against them.Sales:1. Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with client webmarketing and information technology leaders in a sales situation.2. Strong presentation skills.3. Strong written communication skills, particularly those required toconveying marketing strategy in structured (e.g. RFP response)documents in a way that positively differentiates the firm'scapabilities.4. Ability to identify and understand a client's key business issues.5. Successful development of technical and web marketing components ofclient-ready proposals.6. Ability to train and develop Regional Sales Managers in thetechnical dimensions of the sale, allowing greater leverage for theSales Engineer position over time.Personal:1. Superb interpersonal communication skills, particularly wherecomplex technical information must be conveyed in a clear andconvincing way to a diverse audience.2. Demonstrable people skills.3. Desire and ability to learn and apply new information quickly.4. High energy and flexibility in juggling many projects and meetingsat one time.5. Ability and willingness to travel up to 30\% for sales presentationsand industry trade shows.6. Bachelor's Degree and three years experience or an equivalentcombination of education and experience in the marketing field.
