Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a full-time Intern to work in the merchandising department on special projects and to learn the processes of merchandising the website every week based on seasonal and company wide promotions. Learn the process from A–Z on loading new products and merchandising them on the site for maximum sales and conversion. Attend department meetings to learn the process/analytics behind how we merchandise and market our site through a variety of online channels. This position requires strong writing and communication skills along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Merchandising Site Storefronts – ensuring that product descriptions are current and accurate on the website.

· Entering Product Job Tickets – you will be initiating requests with the creative team to load new products to the website.

· Proof reading and editing Product Descriptions

· Site Proofreading and Link Checking to ensure quality control of the website

· Gathering Product Information by researching a database and discussing with marketing teams

 

Qualifications:

 

· BA or pursuing

· Experience with MS-Word and Excel

· Excellent word processing skills

· Familiarity with proofreading marks

· Flexible to work with changing priorities

· Possesses enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity
