Job Description:

The Network Specialist is a part time weekend position working 16 – 20 hours per week. There will be different shift requirements, including morning, swing, and graveyard shifts. This position also requires the person to work on holidays and to cover for vacation time off.

Responsibilities: Monitor production AS400 Database systems and troubleshoot errors to correct problems Monitor Data Center Systems and environmentals Communicate any issues or updates within the NOC to programmers and department leads Ability to work on weekends and holidays; cover shifts for scheduled vacations

Qualifications/Experience: 2+ years recent AS400 computer operator experience Solid understanding of production and e-commerce support Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively to programmers and department leads Solid problem determination and resolution skills Good understanding of networking technology Dependable
