As the Product Development Manager on our team, you will be responsible for improving market performance by identifying and justifying new products and developing subsequent implementation plans. Since we are a small company, you will get the opportunity to see everything that goes into product development - not just sourcing and inventory tracking. This will be the most interesting and challenging career situation you will ever encounter.

What You Get To Do:

  Identify viable new products by conducting market research and competitive analysis Justify new product development by completing ROI analysis Develop pricing strategies Prepare new products for launch by working collaboratively with the marketing department to create comprehensive marketing plans Produce new products by coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and distribution schedules Monitor new product performance by tracking inquiries and sales, calling on customers with sales representatives, and reporting performance and profit results to management. Protect organization's value by keeping new product information confidential.

 

What You Need To Bring To The Table:

  Ability to drive an aggressive product launch cycle focused on seasonal, event-based, and time-based promotions. Ability to execute on bringing new products to market quickly with solid understanding of consumer trends. Must possess strong understanding of product life cycles Willingness to work incredibly hard to be part of, and contribute to, greatness in the organization ROI-centric mind set Experience with competitive analysis, marketing research, pricing, and strategy Strong desire to be happy
