We are creating a network that serves as a social media platform – an integrated network of sites that empowers people to create and consume media and information, to connect with others, express themselves and have access to groundbreaking tools and technologies that enrich their daily lives.The Online Advertising Analyst is responsible for forecasting site traffic, analyze advertising inventory levels, and maximize revenue for Fox Interactive Media/IGN properties. Responsibilities and Duties• Analyzes current and historical online ad delivery, ad traffic and site profile reports on an ongoing basis to identify trends; predict future inventory needs and provide business intelligence to upper management.• Utilizes statistical analysis to forecast future inventory availability based on historical delivery trends.• Provides accurate forecast levels of all ad product impressions available to sales teams. • Partners closely with internal teams to proactively determine future ad inventory needs and to resolve under-delivering campaigns. Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (in Statistics, Economics or Business, or Computer Science preferred). • Must have experience forecasting online advertising media or experience in a comparable web and/or business analytics role• Experience using forecasting tool (Crystal Ball preferred)• Experience manipulating large data set, interpreting data trends and reporting results either verbal or written • Strong analytical and computer/tech skills; expert in Excel (knowledge of advanced features: Macros, complex formulas) . • Knowledge in relational databases (Oracle and SQL a plus)• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Working knowledge of advertising industry a plus
