Online Marketing Operations Director

Los Angeles-based, Internet Brands, Inc. is currently seeking an Online Marketing Operations Director for our Automotive Web division to manage our online marketing and other online efforts. The director will lead activities that involve generating traffic to several Internet Brands websites and provide other guidance and support.  This position will manage a team of online marketing/SEM managers and analysts. Responsibilities: o  Maximizing team efficiency and effectiveness o  Managing paid search activity, implementing new media campaigns, analyzing ROI, and overseeing reporting activities o  Oversight of strategic paid search/PPC o  Managing media relationships, which includes contract negotiations, creative development and delivery, implementation, and ROI analysis o  Providing analytic support to optimize media campaign profitability o  Prospecting new online traffic sources o  Tracking expenditures vs. budget, maintaining ROI projections, and assisting with creative development o  Working with Accounting for general invoicing and tracking of media expenditures o  Working with project managers who oversee the technical development and maintenance of Internet Brands websites o  Identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and coordinating these relationships. Requirements: o  Internet industry management experience and previous staff management experience o  Ability to mobilize a team toward achievement of results o  Online marketing/SEM/SEO experience is a plus o  Bachelor's Degree o  Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency o  Web-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel o  Excellent familiarity with Internet o  Strong organizational skills as well as analytics o  Superior interpersonal communication skills  Position includes competitive compensation and excellent benefits, in a pleasant, casual-dress office environment.
