Operations Coordinator

General Description:
 
This position supports Access Hollywood Dotcom as outlined below and is part of Show Production Services, LLC.  Show Production Services, LLC. Is an affiliate company of NBC Studios, Inc.

Responsibilities:
 
•  Maintain relationships between AccessHollywood.com and partner sites including MSNBC, Yahoo/OMG!, Yahoo/Movies, TV Guide, and the NBC Local Media division.
•  Work closely with Managing Editor and Content Editors on projects, which include site Quality Control, special section site build-out, promotion, contests & giveaways and games.
•  Maintain “Celebrities” section of website.  This includes updating “fun facts,” "Overview”, and “Timeline” sections and keeping them current. 
•  Coordinate billing for 3rd party media buys for AH.com
•  Assist Content Editors with various digital newsletter mailings and troubleshoot and set up new mass email marketing efforts to grow our user base.
•  Liaison between ad sales, ad operations and the site to ensure proper and timely execution of ad buys.
•  Assist Marketing department in gathering any dubs or copies needed for “Sizzle Reels” or other marketing tools.
•  Other ad-hoc duties as outlined by Manager.
Qualifications 
•  Bachelor’s Degree in either of the following: Computer Science, MultiMedia, Business, Journalism, Media, Communications, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience required.

Eligibility Requirements

•  Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings due to news cycles and breaking news.
•  Must be willing to work designated shift, Monday - Friday.  Hours roughly from 8am – 5pm and may last up to 10 hours.
•  References from previous employers required.
•  Must pass drug screen and background check.

Desired
 
•  3-5 years previous work experience for a commercial online service.
•  Candidates must have an original and exciting style and an online portfolio with URL’s and work samples.
•  Excellent writing skills
•  Prior experience in entertainment industry is preferred; experience in entertainment news a plus.
