Operations Technician

. Responsibilities: Monitor ticketing queue for incident reports Troubleshoot issues and identify causes and solutions Implement fixes to hardware and network Work with other team members to identify non-standard issues and escalate as appropriate Send verification mails to customer when changes have been completed Liaise with other members of our Operations group, including working with all levels of technical support Contribute network expertise to interdisciplinary teamsRequired Skills: Strong Customer Service experience Superb oral and written communication skills The ability to work well independently, as well as the drive to collaborate consistently Excellent prioritization and organization skills as well as the ability to multi-task Experience with MS operating systems to include Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and backend administration Basic Microsoft SQL server and query creation experience Performance monitoring experience Strong technical experience with technical design and distributed backup solutions, architecture and communications concepts, including backup server, client, and scalar architectures and configurations Experience with infrastructure operational processes and implementation of infrastructure projects An understanding of basic Network and Infrastructure troubleshooting Able to provide some root cause analysis of issues pertaining to hardware and/or software solutionsPreferred Skills: Active Directory SMTP Network Troubleshooting DNS Resolution Troubleshooting Imaging Solutions Basic scripting knowledge Basic SQL scripting or administration knowledge An AS degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related military /technical training or equivalent experience is recommended MCP credentials or equivalent enterprise experience is also highly recommendedApply Today:Please forward resume to careers@allyis.com and reference job ID# 942-M in the subject line.
