Job Summary:The Oracle Applications Analyst will be a member of j2 Global’s Enterprise Applications Team. As a member of this team, the Oracle Applications Analyst will work with billing system programmers and analysts to understand the financial data and assist in the defining and building of interfaces into Oracle Financials GL, AR and AP modules. Knowledge and experience in working with Oracle On Demand is a plus, and experience in implementing Oracle Financials modules is ideal. This position will work with IT Architecture and internal auditors to ensure implementations are compliant with corporate standards and legal requirements (Privacy laws, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, etc.). This position will also be required to support the Finance and Accounting teams at j2 Global. This will require supporting Oracle Financials from a back-office and front-end perspective, as well as assist those teams with understanding how the modules work and should be used. This position will be required to gather, analyze and document requested changes and lead the implementation of those changes, which may include a global rollout.Job Duties: ·  Apply business process analysis and vision to drive the company’s objectives to be accomplished within Oracle Financials.·  Guide the design of interfaces to Oracle On Demand and assist with the implementation of those interfaces. Analyze and support current interfaces to Oracle On Demand.·  Be the point of contact on all Oracle On Demand issues for j2 Global. This includes the creation and management of SR’s, as well as the implementation of new modules and any troubleshooting that is necessary.·  Demonstrate an understanding of financial and accounting specifications.·  Work with Finance and other business groups on re-engineering efforts and be a strong advocate for those groups within the IT infrastructure.·  When necessary, provide technical architecture guidance in the design, development, deployment and production support of new and existing Oracle Financials modules.·  Assist other Enterprise Application team members with standard DML and DDL support tasks.·  Reports to the Manager of Billing Systems. Job Requirements and Experience: ·  5+ years experience promoting, defining and executing the vision/strategy for an enterprise level Oracle Financials implementation.·  Strong knowledge in Accounting and Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, and AR.·  7+ years Oracle PL/SQL and general SQL experience.·  Understanding of Oracle Applications architecture and underlying data structures.·  Strong knowledge in Oracle On Demand architecture and interfacing with Oracle On Demand.·  Experience in working with the Oracle support structure (including Oracle SDM’s and using Metalink to log and keep track of SR’s).·  Experience in UNIX or Linux as well as basic networking or connectivity is required.·  Demonstrated ability to extract requirements from users who may not understand a systems development life cycle.·  Strong organizational skills are required to manage competing priorities.·  Strong knowledge of financial principles preferred.·  Bachelor's degree in IT related program is preferred or equivalent years of direct experience required. For immediate consideration send resume, with "Oracle Applications Analyst" in subject, to linh.pham@j2global.com or APPLY HERE
