Product Manager (Matching)

Are you interested in designing and implementing innovative offerings for consumers? eHarmony is looking for a dynamic and talented Product Manager who has the passion for building products that will affect the lives of millions of users every day. In this role, you will be involved in all phases of production-from concept through to implementation and monetization. You will develop product strategies and define product requirements, forge internal and external partnerships, and direct the conception, development and implementation of products for an industry leading company. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented, detail-oriented individual with at least 4+ years of web/online product management experience. You must have expertise in developing detailed plans for complex projects involving challenging requirements, limited resources, and fixed deadlines. You must posses expertise in both written and interpersonal communication, in relationship building, and in collaboration in a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products for product area of responsibility. Identify and defend against competitive threats; identify and exploit competitor's weaknesses. Create, manage and execute product requirement documents that meet business objectives & goals. Coordinate with other departments when implementing the project plans (engineering, marketing, customer care, analytics and finance). Update and augment the product plans as necessary. Work with key cross-functional teams to manage and deliver all product projects on time and within budget; balance product requirements and market impact against time to market and project risks. Monitor, evaluate, prioritize, and incorporate customer and prospect feedback into project plans and regularly scheduled enhancement releases. Monitor key conversion metrics to support continual optimization of the product and business plan. Provide appropriate product enhancement information to Marketing for effective delivery of product/client communications. Work with marketing to develop strategies for product rollouts and key releases.
