JOB PURPOSE

Contribute to the planning and management of the overall I-play delivery program.

Job responsibilities:

Develop, drive and maintain the program plan for roadmap projects with accurate project status and forecast dates to enable sales and business planning.

Develop, drive and maintain the program plan for backfill projects with accurate project status and forecast dates to enable sales and business planning.

Develop and maintain accurate internal resource plans to ensure optimal use of internal resource and to ensure programme can be delivered.

Develop and maintain accurate external resource plans to ensure program can be delivered.

Manage the Change Management Procedure and ensure effective management of Requests for Change and Project Initiation Requests to enable effective prioritization, business decisions and provide a rapid response to Sales/initiator.

COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The role is central within the I-play organization and will involve extensive communication and working relationships across the business and with key external parties including but not limited to:

Marketing – advising program status, specific marketing dates, launch related activities

Sales – incoming requests for projects/skus and progress on current projects, device

Producers – tracking progress, risks, issues

QA – tracking progress, impact analysis of project requests, resource planning

R&D – new devices/device issues, special projects

Post Production – program dates, risks, issues

Internal Conversion Project Managers – allocating projects, tracking progress, risks, issues and resource planning.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience of project management ideally in a production environment; Experience of software development projects advantageous.

Highly skilled in the use of project management methodologies and tools

and process development tools.

Good analytical skills

Structured and methodical approach and highly organised.

Experience of writing Quality Plans and working in a Quality Management environment.

Experience of managing external suppliers and establishing and maintaining performance metrics.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent and varied activities in a fast paced, production environment.

Must be a strong team player with ability to lead and motivate project teams.
