Today, more than 46,100 customers in more than 120 countries run SAP applications – from distinct solutions addressing the needs of small businesses and midsize companies to suite offerings for global organizations.JOB TITLE RIG Specialist-Risk ManagementPURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The SAP Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) RIG (Regional Implementation Group) was established in order to create an information hub between SAP Field and Development and to act as an interface between the two groups. The SAP GRC RIG works closely with development and is responsible for the following tasks. * Acting as a central point of core technical and functional product expertise. * Preparing and holding workshops. * Acting as the central point of contact for queries from SAP Services Consulting/troubleshooting in customer projects. * Knowledge transfer in consulting (how-to guides, expert conference calls,newsgroups, training). * Working very closely with the reference customers on product implementations from a functional and technical perspective.<br>* Supporting pilot and ramp-up projects * Roll-in of demands and development requests in development * Supporting de-escalations in customer projects. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS * As a product specialist, you will act as a product expert on one or more GRC products for consultancy and development, as well as for customers and partners from a technical and functional perspective in the Americas. * Participate in reference and strategically important customer projects in order to build knowledge and experience in consultancy organizations, whilst also ensuring the flow of information back to development. * Develop workshops and demos for consulting organizations, customers and partners, thus contributing to field enablement. * Write How-To Guides providing detailed information on specific solutions that are beyond the normal scope of the documentation. * Ability to Manage multiple projects and customers WORK EXPERIENCE * Extensive technical knowledge of SAP architecture and understanding of one or more areas such as Netweaver components, Application Servers, ABAP, JAVA, RFC, Visual Composer, Workflow, BI and Portal. * Experience with Implementing and troubleshooting Netweaver Systems and development * Functional SAP product knowledge and experience with one or more of the SAP ERP domain areas – Security, FI, MM, SD, SCM etc. * A background with Consulting, software development or customer implementation and service is required for this position. * Experience working with the SAP tools on implementation projects is highly desirable. * A minimum of 3+ years working with and implementing SAP products and a minimum of 6+ years of experience working in IT is required for this position. TRAVEL 50-75% travel both domestic and international.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Self-starter and someone who can perform efficiently and effectively under minimal supervision, team player and a person with a to-do attitude are strongly preferred for this position. * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Computer Science required (Master’s degree preferred). * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required for this position especially when working with customers and partners.
