Reporting Analyst
Position Description:
Reporting AnalystMission:The mission of the Reporting Analyst is to apply their skills with numbers and statistical data to translate raw data from our database systems into formats that can be readily analyzed. Leverage hands-on experience with statistics and analytics to support the revenue group dealing with latest trends in online advertising. Qualifications? Bachelor degree in Statistics, MIS, Business, Finance, Research or equivalent education and/or experience in a related area or the online media industry.? Experience with database theory, data mining, business intelligence and reporting tools (Business Objects, Crystal Reports, SAS, SPSS etc).? Strong communication and presentation skills.? Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.? Ability to analyze data, clearly summarize findings and make recommendations.? Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and a high-energy style with demonstrated interest in achieving a successful team outcome.? Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Word, with advanced skills in Excel, Access including Pivot tables, graphing, statistical modeling..? Understanding of online advertising industry, trends, technologies and pricing models; return models and key metrics such as return on advertising spend, CPM, CPL, CPA, etc., conversion, cross-media lift, and the effect of media timing.? Knowledge of SQL is a plus? Upto 2 years of experience in a similar roleResponsibilities ? Develop and maintain reports and dashboards used for decision making.? Day-to-day responsibilities will center around data manipulation, modeling and interpretation, you will gain exposure to a broad range of challenges of the revenue group. Reviews reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report. ? Provide guidance to other teams in their creation of forecast, operational and statistical models? Collect and analyze the data for ad hoc queries, work with the appropriate group to ensure the reports get executed in a timely, repeatable, and accurate manner. ? Research, analyze and evaluate trends and market data, identifying key factors that effect sales to assist the company in meeting revenue goals.? Confers with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements. ? Design queries to extract data from large-scale databases.
