Research Analyst

UGO’s Research & Digital Insights Group is looking for a seasoned Research Analyst. This role will provide the ideal candidate with a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the department in 2008.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Report on and analyze data in ways that are actionable and compelling to the VP, Research & Digital Insights and multiple sales groups (including US, International & Performance teams)

• Develop strategic and action-oriented analysis and recommendations for internal client groups (content, business development, m&a, etc.)

• Utilize multiple data sources, including products from Nielsen Online, comScore, Forrester and eMarketer

• Pull and evaluate competitive information including usage metrics and ad spending data

• Leverage data to deliver powerful and targeted audience positioning presentations for agencies and clients

• Partner with the VP, Research & Digital Insights to provide input on the sales research process

• Distribute published industry articles/reports with key findings to relevant groups and individuals

 

EDUCATION

• BA/BS degree required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years experience in online media research

• Experience in leveraging comScore’s Key Measures, MediaBuilder & PlanMetrix tools as well as Nielsen Online’s NetView, @plan & Ad Relevance tools

• Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills

• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

• Well organized and confident with fast deadlines

• A proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
