SQL Report Developer

Responsibilities include:

The primary role of this job will be to define and design financial, operational and billing reports based on end user specifications using SQL 2005 Reporting Services. These reports will use data sets that you have created using complex SQL stored procedures based on the financial and clinical data repositories. This role will utilize your strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and technical skills.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Analyze business requirements, produce technical specifications, detailed testing plans, testing conditions/expected results and implementation plansCollect, analyze and prepare Ad-Hoc reports from a variety of sources under tight timeframes and with efficiency and accuracyAssist in the maintenance and enhancement of reporting databases and ensure that nightly data reload jobs are running and optimizedDemonstrate and Train both internal and external staff on the use of the reporting programs and tools

Skill Sets: MS SQL 2000/2005 - reporting services design, ability to create complex stored procedures, DTS/SSIS Package creation and Transaction SQLExperience with Dundas - Chart, Gauge and Calendar a plusMS Office - Word, Excel, Visio, and ProjectAbility to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneouslyExhibit the ability to work independently with minimal supervision or work as a team player on larger projectsDesire and ability to learn new things that have a practical application to the business

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business information management, statistics, computer science or related fieldFour years development experience using MS SQL 2000/2005 Stored Procedures, DTS/SSIS, Reporting ServicesExperience with complex relational database systemsMS .Net Programming experience a plusMS SQL 2005 SSIS programming a plusSQL Administration skills helpful
