Job Description
Qualified candidate will be responsible for design, development, implementation and maintenance of projects for the Online Marketing group. The individual will function in a design/technical lead capacity on certain projects, support customer facing business applications as required and work on front-end and back-end components of the company's web and server-side applications. Position involves reviewing business requirements and translating into technical specifications, participate in technical and peer review processes, building scalable software solutions, assisting the PM in establishing time lines and troubleshooting production problems.
Required Skills
Responsibilites: Develop and maintain internal applications as required by the business Maintain and support various java based applications including payment systems, marketing websites and xml platforms Assist with the automation of business and technical processes Provide single point of contact to internal teams and business partners to resolves issues and identify areas of improvement within the applications Trouble-shooting production issues, coordinate efforts across multiple teams within the organization, enhance and maintain clear documentation
Required Skills: Strong object-oriented design skills Knowledge and work experience with HTML, JavaScript, JSP, CSS and Ajax Knowledge and work experience with Java, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, and XML (parsers, XML schema, XSLT, etc.) Experience working with Linux and shell scripting Familiarity with Eclipse, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss and ability to configure an application server Solid use of SQL and using relational databases (Oracle and PL/SQL is a huge plus) Strong multitasking, time management, team work and analytical problem-solving skills required
Required ExperienceDemonstrated strong communication skills - both written and verbal Demonstrated strong problem solving skills BS in Computer Science or similar is required 3-5 Years experience in a software engineering or support role At least 3 years experience programming web applications using Java and JSP Strong knowledge of internet technologies
