Senior Accountant

SpaFinder, Inc., the world’s largest spa media and marketing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant.  SpaFinder is a rapidly growing company with 100+ employees throughout the US, Europe and Asia.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and annual close processes• Hands on management of staff in the completion of month-end close and consolidation of  

  affiliate entities.• Assist in generation of monthly financial statements• Assist in creation of monthly management reporting package• Prepare account reconciliations and other support for annual audit • Responsible for adherence to reporting requirements and recommendations for improvement• Review supporting records to the GL for accounting, A/P, A/R, payroll, cash  management, billings, collections and fixed assets

 

 

Position Requirements:• BA in accounting  • 4-6 years of relevant experience • Ability to personally perform in each of the above areas of responsibility • Ability to multi-task• A genuine team spirit and flexible attitude• Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills both written and verbal and presentation skills

• Proficiency in Excel • Hands on experience and knowledge of small business accounting packages such as QuickBooks
