Flektor, Inc. is the most recent acquisition into the FIM family, provides a broad suite of multimedia tools to create and edit photos, videos, slideshows, and provide compelling interactive experiences for end users and engaging platforms for advertisers.General Responsibilities:• We are looking for extremely talented Senior Programmers, including a Senior Backend Web Programmer. The right candidate will be confident in his or her programming skills and able to tackle and master new languages and methods very quickly. The senior programmer needs to pull his weight in a team of high level equals. As a senior programmer, you will need to be able to take a sub-system idea and design, build, and test that component quickly, even when having never done a similar system before. Many years of coding experience, perhaps some professionally, some as a hobbyist, and some in school are necessary for this position. Any combination can work, as long as you are smart, talented, and efficient. Familiarity with many of the systems of advanced web authoring is a big plus. Overall, you must be an extremely experienced, motivated, intelligent, and flexible coder.Requirements & Education• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript is mandatory• Knowledge of C++ a plus but not required• Extensive experience with at least one back end scripting language (Python, Ruby, PHP, Java) required• Significant experience using SQL databases required • Experience using third party web APIs through REST or SOAP a major plus • Must be available to work on site – no contractors or outsourcers• 1+ years experience developing website backend system• Bachelors degree in computer science recommended
