We currently have an opening for a Senior Consumer Marketing Specialist - Secure Access & Share Ovi Service at our beautiful Mountain View, California campus



Join the recently acquired Avvenu Inc. team at Nokia in creating next-generation Internet services that allow mobile phone users to remotely access, share and use content stored on their work and home PCs. This Marketing Specialist position will be part of the Secure Access and Share (SAS) business line and will be responsible for developing our end user marketing of the SAS service. This position will require strong consumer on-line marketing skills along with experience in developing and delivering end user marketing campaigns.

Primary responsibilities of this role include:
Manager outreach programs through e-mail and in-product messaging to end users
Develop and monitor service marketing plans
Work closely with the SAS Product Management and Product Specialist teams
Interface with Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Go-To-Market groups
Develop end user acquisition campaigns
Develop, administer and analyze end user surveys
Develop and coordinate marketing strategies with Nokia Device Experiences groups
Work with product management for development and management of product web content
Provide definition for end user metric collection systems
Provide continuous update of marketing success metrics to management and team


6-10 years of relevant experience in on-line service consumer marketing
Substantial experience in mobile devices and mobile internet services
Critical thinker, able to develop and manage creative marketing campaigns
Experience managing on-line tracking systems, metrics reporting systems
Quick learner and self starter. Operate with minimal direction.
B.S. in Engineering or Marketing preferred.

Nokia Corp. posted a 44% jump in fourth-quarter 2007 net profit as it outpaced rivals in the increasingly tough mobile-phone market.Strong sales in emerging markets helped boost 2007 net profit 44 percent in the period and saw the Finnish company capture more than 40 percent of the global handset market -- an all-time best and long-term goal. Total profits in 2007 reached 7.2 billion euros ($10.6 billion), up 67 percent from the year before, while sales jumped 24 percent to 51 billion euros ($74.8 billion), Nokia said. It sold 437 million handsets last year, 26 percent more than in 2006.
