Senior Manager, Corporate Communications The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications for Move will have the responsibility for managing and coordinating public relations under the direction of the department’s senior director or public relations and corporate communications. In this position, you will manage all aspects of public relations including plan management, some media relations, message development and reputation management. The Senior Manager of Corporate Communication will leverage their knowledge of real estate, the communications discipline and PR project management skills to assure that the company has a proactive external voice on assignment projects. The successful candidate will have 7+ years public relations experience with proven experience in either a corporate environment or at a public relations agency. Experience in executing and managing PR plans that generate and measure results are required. Outstanding writing and editing skills, excellent planning and organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects are also essential. Must also have the ability to understand and articulate technology-driven messages and strategies. Experience in the real estate industry is important. Responsibility: Develop, manage and execute proactive integrated communications programs with Senior Director of PR and Corporate Communications for external purposes to create a strong voice and visibility for new products across different units. Develop communications tools and media outreach content for external uses. Manage media calendar, foster collaborative, integrated approach to communications and work in partnership with Senior Director to build and coordinate communications strategy. Stay abreast of trends in the real estate industry to effectively integrate knowledge into all consumer and trade tactics and messaging. Some travel may be required; up to 20% Experience Summary: Bachelor’s Degree in English, journalism or Communication 7 years of related public relations experience, as well as experience in real estate, online, consumer and/or technology businesses. Broad external communications experience with in depth experience in issues management. Proven media relations skills and results-orientation Strategic approach to communications and program development; ability to align and articulate communications strategies with corporate business objectives. Proven success in the development and execution of strategic communications programs for the new product launches and special event PR.
